At about 2: 00 a.m. on September 7, 2024, the first Boeing 777F freighter of Maersk Air Cargo Company (hereinafter referred to as Maersk Air) landed slowly at Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport with full of European cargo.This is the first flight of the freighter in Hangzhou since it was delivered in July

While the Boeing 777F freighter opened regular flights in Hangzhou, Maersk Air has also begun preparations for the second Boeing 777F freighter to operate in China, and plans to further increase regular flights between China and Europe within the year. With the continuous optimization of Maersk’s self-operated flight network, customers in China and Europe will have more flexible air cargo solutions to increase supply chain resilience and address potential supply chain challenges.The Boeing 777F has a range of 9,200 km (4,970 nautical miles) and a maximum payload of 102,000 kg, more than double that of the Boeing 767F. The first Boeing 777F freighter was delivered to Maersk Air in July. A second Boeing 777F freighter is expected to be delivered by the end of the third quarter.
